The Award-Winning Senjokai Karate Academy offers engaging sessions designed to inspire students with a mix of physical activity, self-discipline, and cultural education.
What We Offer:
- Karate as a Dynamic Olympic Sport: Showcase agility, speed, and the competitive side of karate.
- Karate as a Japanese Cultural Pastime: Dive into the traditions and philosophies of this ancient martial art.
- Staff or Pupil Self-Defence: Practical techniques to boost confidence and personal safety.
- Bully Prevention Courses: Equip students with strategies to prevent and handle bullying.
- Wee Ninjas Kids Club (4-6 years): Fun, interactive sessions for younger students.
- ASN (Additional Support Needs) Sessions: Inclusive and adaptable to individual requirements.
Session Requirements:
- Access to a sports hall
- A TV or Smart Board
- 45-minute sessions per group (maximum of 40 students)
- Sessions available from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Catchment Areas:
We deliver sessions to schools within a 5-mile radius of Stewarton, Ayr, Prestwick, Troon, Maybole, Cumnock, Tarbolton, Symington, and Beith.
Important Notes:
- Sessions are completely free and available only during term time.
- Bookings require confirmation with the Active Schools Coordinator, Head Teacher, or Management Team.
- We kindly ask schools to distribute flyers to interested students and display a Senjokai Karate poster.
