Melissa brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in martial arts, fitness, and the day-to-day running of a studio.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Melissa serves as the first contact for all members, both new and existing. She will assist with onboarding new members, follow up on enquiries, support and manage the day-to-day running of Senjokai Karate, liaise with and support club coaches and eventually move into coaching role.
Achievements in Martial Arts
Melissa holds a black belt in Shotokan karate and has achieved notable success, including being crowned the junior Scottish grand champion in 2010 and winning a bronze medal in kumite at the British Championships in 2011. Additionally, she holds a brown/black belt in Kuk Sool Won, with multiple gold medals in the Scottish Championships. Melissa is also a brown belt in judo!
